Charles Di Meglio

Charles Di Meglio was born in Paris in December 1986, and lived in various countries for seven years, before settling back in France in 1997. Appealed by the dramatic stage at very young an age, he started acting and directing plays as early as ten, in French and in English. He was seen on stage in Oscar Wilde’s ""The Importance of Being Earnest"", or, more recently, in Jean Genet's "The Balcony", and playing Pozzo in Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot".His Parisian directorial début was his acclaimed "mise en scène" of "Oscar Wilde's "Salome"", in 2006, with his own company, Oghma. He is currently working on a production of Jean Racine's ""Phèdre & Hippolyte"".

He also has directed a few short-length films, and is currently shooting a new one, to be finished in 2008: "Listless angels".
