The Famicom version gives out 3 (three) in-game continues in addition to 5 (five) normal game credits while the Sega Master System version simply hands out 3 (three) continues.

There are more than five different stages and an infinite amount of rounds. In both versions, the player must sacrifice points in order to purchase upgrades for the car including turbo, new tires, and oil. Before each mission, a female dispatcher named Nancy updates the player on the criminal and his vehicle; the criminal is always male. The player's car is given three turbochargers; helicopters occasionally give the player more turbochargers. While it appears in English letters in the Sega Mega Drive version, the Famicom version uses Japanese letters for her name (ナンシー). Since her name would sound foreign to a Japanese player, her name is recorded by using katakana instead of hiragana.
