Frank Reade adventure story series around 1882, introducing Frank Reade, Jr. as the new main character, and adding elements such aselectricity . They were highly successful, and by the 1890s Senarens was asked by publisherFrank Tousey to write a similar series featuringJack Wright , the "Boy Inventor". Later in the decade, Tousey created the "Frank Reade Library", a periodical devoted to "invention" stories, largely (or wholly) penned by Senarens under the pseudonym Noname.cite book
