Rémi Gaillard (born
16 February 1975 inMontpellier ,France ) is a Frenchpranks ter . He gained a certain amount of attention in the French media after performing a well-documented series ofpranks , including a famous appearance disguised as aLorient football player in the2002 Coupe de France final match where he would eventually take part on the celebrations and even greet the then president of FranceJacques Chirac .So far Gaillard has appeared in several sport events, TV game shows and evenpolitical rallies , normally breaking the security measures easily.Appearances
* Gaillard disguised himself with a
Lorient team shirt, got through security and took part of the celebrations of Lorient's win of Coupe de France at theStade de France . It went as far as greeting presidentJacques Chirac , performing victory runs with Lorient players around the pitch holding the cup, giving a TV interview, and signing autographs. He appeared in several photos days later in editions of french journalL'Equipe .
* Gaillard, dressed in the same shirt (although without a number on the shirt's back) as theFrance men's national volleyball team , appearedJuly 27 2002 in a qualifier match counting for theVolleyball World League alongside the french players during the singing of the French national hymn. This episode was broadcast live onEurosport .
* Gaillard also appeared dressed in aMontpellier Herault rugby union kit and made his way onto the pitch at the beginning of the game, holding a rugby ball. He walked to the centre of the pitch holding the match ball, shook hands with the referee, ran to the try line and rolled over the line whilst being chased by a security guard. He then got up and scored the conversion before running off the field.External links
