Russell Omond

Russell Thomas Omond (born 9 July 1989) is a Scottish semi-professional footballer from Aberdeen. As of June 2008, he plays for [Aberdeen Sunday Amatuer team] side West Hill United.

In his early years Omond was signed by Aberdeen Football Club on a schoolboy form. He made appearances for the under-19s and reserve squad at the age of just 15. Omond's most noticeable achievements include playing for Scotland under-16s in the Victory Shield.

During 2007, Omond played for Parkvale F.C., after spending the 2005/2006 season with Highland Football League side Keith F.C., and a loan spell at Banchory St Ternan and Banks O' Dee.
