"Son Pari" is an Indian Hindi TV sitcom that was first aired on STAR Plus India, but currently airs on TV Asia USA. It is based on the story of a little girl name Fruty, who receives a magical gem that when rubbed, summons a fairy named Son Pari and her friend Altu.

Plot

The story starts when Fruity's friend Bunty catches a dove to give his friend to do an experiment. Bunty and his friend are not good people for they wanted to capture Son Pari and show her to the world and get lots of money and get rich in return. So Fruity takes the dove and sets it free. What Fruity doesn't know is that the bird is actually Son Pari. She often comes to Earth by the permission of her [fairy godmother] called Pari Ma.

Fruity's mother died long ago and she always goes to the terrace to see the stars because she thinks her mother has become one of them and on one such night Son Pari comes to her and offers her friendship for Fruity as she had once helped her. Fruity quickly accepts her friendship to get rid of her loneliness. Then starts the story of their strange friendship. Son Pari and Altu start meeting Fruity regularly. They also help her get rid of Ruby, a girl who wants to marry Fruity's father, Rohit, for the sake of his money and Ruby's brother helps Ruby but Son Pari and Altu make sure they don't succeed. Then Son Pari realizes that Fruty is in great danger for it is written on the prophcies(stars) that Fruty will kill Kali Pari (Cruela) who is one of the villains of this story.
