Employment zone

Employment Zones are areas within the UK that have been so designated to loosen restrictions and requirements on government assistance in job acquisition. Those living in Employment Zones are able to get financial assistance to set up in business, improve their skills or even buy clothes for a job interview. [http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/politics/270215.stm] The zones are managed by the Department for Work and Pensions.

Employment Zones

Thirteen areas across the UK have been declared Employment Zones [ [http://www.jobcentreplus.gov.uk/JCP/Customers/Programmesandservices/Employment_Zones/ Jobcentre Plus ] ] . Private contractors have been brought in to deal with long-term unemployment in areas where it is at a high level.
