Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster
- Fender Nashville B-Bender Telecaster
The Nashville B-Bender Telecaster is an electric guitar made by Fender Musical Instruments Corporation. It was introduced in 1998 and upgraded in 2001.
Modeled after the customized instruments of some of Nashville’s top players, this guitar features a Fender "Texas Special" Stratocaster pickup in the middle position paired by two DeltaTone Tele pickups in the neck and bridge positions, five-way "Strat-o-Tele" switching and a B-Bender string bending system for emulating pedal-steel glissandos and country guitar bends. Other refinements include a non-veneered alder body with a sharp '52-style body radius, a 1-piece maple neck/fretboard with rolled edges, 22 medium-jumbo frets, highly detailed nut and fret work, Fender/Schaller deluxe die-cast tuning machines and a 3-ply parchment pickguard.
