Bolta Pakistan

Bolta Pakistan is a live political talk show on AAJ TV [http://www.aaj.tv/programme/index.php?pg=currentaffairs&pid=133] . The show is hosted by Nusrat Javed and Mushtaq Minhas and runs Monday through Friday from at 11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time.) Outside Pakistan the show can be seen on Jump Tv [http://www.jumptv.com/en/channel/aajtv/] . The show recently celebrated its first anniversary on May 7th, 2008.The Associate Producer and Reasearcher for this show is Muhammad Intisar ul haq and the Producer is Awais Ahmed.

The show provides relatively balanced views due to the opposing stances of the two anchors.Nusrat Javed traditionally supports Pakistan Peoples Party and Mushtaq Minhas is stronglycritical of PPP and supports Nawaz Sharif. However, both have been strong supporters of the lawyers movement in Pakistan during the whole scandal of Suspension of Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

Bans by Pakistan Government

Bolta Pakistan, the program itself, and its broadcasting channel AAJ TV have both been banned time and again by the Pakistani Government. Bolta Pakistan's hosts were one of the reporters rumoredto be on the hitlist of Pervez Musharraf's Government.
