Dr İbrahim Sirkeci (born 1972,
Izmir ,Turkey ) lives inLondon and works as a Senior Lecturer at theEuropean Business School London . He has written several books and many articles on international migration, internal migration, population movements, labour market, ethnic conflict, and minorities.
Ibrahim Sirkeci also writes a weekly column for Turkish daily newspaperBirgun .
His research focused on ethnicity, segregation, labour markets, conflict, international migration with particular reference to minorities in theUK , Turkish, Kurdishmigration toGermany ,Turkey andIraq . İbrahim Sirkeci received a Bachelor of Arts in
Political Science fromBilkent University ,Ankara and a PhD inHuman Geography from theUniversity of Sheffield .
