James Ford is an English musical composer, record producer and musician. He has produced a Mercury Prize–winning album, Klaxons' "Myths of the Near Future", and is also a member of Simian Mobile Disco. He is currently working with The Last Shadow Puppets with whom he plays the drums. He also produced the group's Mercury Prize nominated debut album "The Age of the Understatement".
