Arts Extra

"Arts Extra" is BBC Radio Ulster’s nightly arts and entertainment programmepresented by Marie-Louise Muir. This lively, entertaining and intelligent programme reflects and reviews all aspects of popular culture, from film, television and music to literature and the visual arts. Every night listeners can expect updates of arts news, reviews, previews and live interviews with studio guests.

Accessible, authoritative and never less than completely honest, Artsextra has its finger on the pulse and its ear to the ground of arts and entertainment at home and abroad.

Marie-Louise Muir says: “I feel that Arts Extra is about quality arts broadcasting, finding stories that make people think, laugh, discuss and maybe even go and check something out. I love the variety of people we interview from all areas of the arts and entertainment industry and the breadth of subjects we cover, whether its movies, plays or poetry."

Marie-Louise Muir also presents "Sounds Classical" on BBC Radio Ulster every Sundayat 8pm.
