Stellar Nursery Society

The Stellar Nursery Society is an organization from the manga series . Dedicated to saving unwanted children from being victims of slaughter as a result of Methusalization, the Stellar Nursery Society acts as both orphanage and school to children until they reach the age of fifteen.

Upon achieving the virtual immortality through the use of nanomachine-enhanced biologies, the extraterrestrial human population of the Solar System sees no further need for reproduction and views the birth of new humans as a threat to the balance of power. Widespread slaughter of children through government-mandated military actions has become quite common, as well as war games that pit children against trained adult soldiers in live-fire "battle exercises".

The Stellar Nursery Society, led by Caerula Sanguis, last survivor of the Type-V mutants, seeks to shelter and raise such children until young adulthood. To further this end the GUNTROLL team is created, comprised of members of the Society who hope to create a permanent, lasting safe harbor by winning the ZOTT and gaining autonomous commonwealth status.
