Jean-Luc Gino Quevauvilliers (born
December 19 ,1987 inPretoria, South Africa ) is aSouth Africa n model. After being discovered by aNew York City modeling agency in late 2005, he quickly became one of the industry's youngest, high-fashion male models inUnited States of America . He has since appeared in numerous advertisement campaigns and walked the runway for elite fashion designers includingTommy Hilfiger ,Dolce & Gabbana ,Giorgio Armani and Valentino. Jean-Luc is widely known for his extensive charity work, which include the writing of an educational book entitled "Shared Wisdom", which was announced as the official book of the World AIDS Conference in 2006. The same year he designed a collection of graphic t-shirts "SYNC", which was briefly sold inMacy's , where all proceeds went towards local charities. The collection was supported by designer,Patricia Fields . He has also appeared in numerous Public Service Announcements with actress,Rosario Dawson which have been broadcast onMTV around the world. Jean-Luc has previously produced and hosted major charity parties inNew York City , including a Halloween Party for kids living withHIV/AIDS , and an exclusive annual Christmas Toy Drive, where celebrities such asDita Von Teese ,Marc Jacobs ,Sarah Jessica Parker ,Janice Dickinson ,Debbie Harry ,Nicky Hilton ,Kelis andCalvin Klein had attended.Towards the end 2007, Jean-luc got more involved behind-the-scenes of the fashion industry. He took up a full-time position in styling and wardrobe coordination, becoming a style correspondent for numerous American Fashion magazines, producing fashion shows and guest appearing on international style television programs.
