Pallig Tokesen

Pallig Tokesen [Palling, Palnig, Palne.] (died 1002) was a Danish chieftain. He was recruited to help Ethelred II [ [http://www.headington.org.uk/history/famous_people/ethelred.htm] , [http://www.users.on.net/~jackr/history/ethelred.html] ; , Barbara Yorke, "Wessex in the Early Middle Ages" (1995), p. 134. ] , and was made Jarl or Ealdorman of Devonshire. He was killed in the St. Brice's Day massacre, along with his wife Gunnhild, daughter of Harald I of Denmark [ [http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/DENMARK.htm Denmark ] ] .
