It is currently undergoing a major refurbishment programme. It had an operational capacity of 697 at the beginning of 2006, with most of its cells being doubles.The prison appeared in the 1971
Stanley Kubrick film "A Clockwork Orange", as it was used for location shooting, as well as an aerial shot.External links
