- Barry Stroud
Barry Stroud is a philosopher known for his work on philosophical
skepticism . He received a B.A. in philosophy from theUniversity of Toronto , followed by a Ph.D. in philosophy from Harvard University. Since 1961, Stroud has worked at theUniversity of California, Berkeley . In 1987, he gave theJohn Locke Lectures at Oxford. In 2007 he was named Willis S. and Marion SlusserProfessor ofPhilosophy in the Berkeley Philosophy Department.elected works
