Steve Hewitt (born
22 March ,1971 ) was the drummer for the band Placebo between mid-1996 and October 2007. Prior to joining Placebo, Hewitt was a member of various bands such as Electric Crayons, K-Klass,The Mystic Deckchairs ,Boo Radleys and Breed. Brian Molko through his then-girlfriend. Although he appeared on some early demo tapes for Placebo, he wasn't able to join the band at first due to prior commitments to Breed. Placebo then earned their record deal with replacement drummer Robert Schultzberg. Later, as Breed broke up, Schultzberg was departing from Placebo so Hewitt accepted the invitation to join Placebo permanently.On
