"Ischnochiton mawsoni" is a species of chiton in the family Ischnochitonidae.

Distribution

This species is endemic to Australia's Macquarie Island.

Habitat

This chiton is found at about 70 m.

Description

The head valve and tail valve have 14 slits each.

Coloration is yellow ochre with purple longitudinal streaks.

Length is up to 10 mm, and the width is up to 5 mm.
