Description
According to the original description the whole surface of the valves is covered with rounded granules. The head valve has 13 slits, and the tail valve eight.
Coloration is variable. One example is uniformly yellowish, another whitish, indistinctly marbled and spotted with reddish-brown.
Length is up to 6 mm, and the width is up to 3.5 mm.
