- Yaroslav Kislyakov
Yaroslav Kislyakov, _ru. Ярослав Кисляков (born 1990). He lived in Volgograd, Russia. At the age of 12 he organized murder of his guardians, a businessman Aleksandr Mikhailov (who was also well known as an active
esperantist ) together with his wife Nadezhda and 20-years-old daughter Polina.Yaroslav was adopted by Mikhailovs in 1998 after his father died in a traffic accident. Being aware of money Mikhailovs saved to buy a new house for Yaroslav and Polina (100,000 US dollars), Yaroslav incited two students of a technical school to kill the whole Mikhailov family and to steal the money. However, the murderers did not find money - Yaroslav did not know that Mikhailovs put it into a bank. Then Yaroslav appeared before militia (Russian police) and declared he was the only survivor because the murderers spared his life because of his minor age. However, facts quickly revealed his role in organization of the crime.
The event was widely discussed in Russian newspapers (e.g. in Komsomolskaya Pravda, the most popular Russian newspaper for youth). However, in order to protect him from assaults, he was mentioned in publication under pseudonym "Pavlik Mikhailov" (which was used probably as analogy to
Pavlik Morozov case).Since Russian legislation does not allow persecution of minors under 14 even for felonies, Yaroslav spent 3 years in a special school for minor criminals and was to be released in 2005 (Russian mass media kept silence on whether it in fact happened earlier or later). Yaroslav felt no repentance for what he had done.
