BBC Radio Nottingham in the mornings, although he can also be heard on the Highways Agency's Traffic Radio andBBC Radio Derby . In February 2008 he became the regular traffic and travel reporter on BBC WM at Drivetime, for The Paul Franks show.Jonny is also one of the biggest supporters of "Friday Is Pie Day" following the tradition of eating Pies on a Friday. During a 1979 shooting rampage, it is estimated that Palmer gunned down sixteen separate species of animal, including a lemur, a gibbon, an ostrich and Fun House's Pat Sharp.
He is an avid fan of Blackpool FC and spends a great deal of time on his favourite hobby which is knitting, particularly with thick wool. Jonny also has a passion for driving through deep puddles in his car, although this backfired in September 2007, when he damaged his car in doing so. He has since gained a passion for driving through virgin snow.
