Sele Farm

Sele Farm is an area on the north-western edge of Hertford, Hertfordshire.

Geography

Sele Farm is mostly 60 metres above sea level, on a hill between the River Mimram and River Beane.

Area

The area is surrounded by fields and farmland with a mix of social and private housing.

It has a variety of shops located in Fleming Crescent, including a Bakery, Newsagent, Pharmacy, Hairdresser, Butcher, Fish & Chip Shop, Bookmaker and a Co-Op. A Doctors Surgery is located nearby in Tudor Way.

The Sele Farm Community Centre is located at the other end of the estate in Perrett Gardens.

Sele Farm also has a regular bus service to Hertford town centre and the nearby towns of Welwyn Garden City and Ware.

One infant school (St Andrews CE School) is located within Sele Farm, and a second infant school (Hollybush JMI) and a senior school (The Sele School) are on the outskirts.
