Simon Elder is a fictional character on ABC television series "Dirty Sexy Money". He is played by Blair Underwood.

Role in the Series

Simon is the business rival of billionaire Tripp Darling (Donald Sutherland). He also was involved with Nick George's (Peter Krause) father Dutch (Peter Strauss) and seems to know something about his mysterious death.

In the episode "The Country House", it's revealed that Elder's parents worked for the Darling family, and were forced to relocate to the Soviet Union by Tripp's parents, due to an affair between Elder's father and Tripp's mother. Elder's parents did not fare well there, and he holds it against the Darlings, motivating his current campaign against them, especially Tripp.
