John Midwinter

John Midwinter

John Midwinter was a music promoter, who, in 1989, bought John Lennon's jukebox at auction for £2,500. After this he carefully restored and researched the jukebox, and made plans for a "South Bank Show" episode about it. The programme was made, but sadly Midwinter died before it was broadcast.
