The Kerr Stuart steam railmotor was a one-off creation by the Victorian Railways. It was built in 1912 using a vertical boiler manufactured by the English company, Kerr Stuart & Co. and a body built by the Victorian Railways at its Newport Railway Workshops where the railmotor was assembled. It ran for 50,000 miles before it was withdrawn.
