Richard Schacht is an American
philosopher , currentlyprofessor emeritus at theUniversity of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign . He is a renowned expert on thephilosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche , is the editor of "International Nietzsche Studies" and is currently Executive Director of the North American Nietzsche Society. His philosophical interests includecontinental philosophy , particularlyFriedrich Nietzsche andGeorg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel ,human nature , alienation andvalue theory .Publications
