Andrew Buchan

Andrew Buchan (born Feb 19th 1979, Stockport, Greater Manchester) is an English actor.

He graduated from Durham University were he has a BA in Modern Languages. Following that he attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA).

On the stage he has appeared as Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet at The Royal Exchange Theatre, Manchester (2005). In 2008 he appeared in Arthur Miller's "The man who had all the luck" at The Donmar. He appeared as the regular character Scott Foster in the political satire "Party Animals", and as St John Rivers in the 2006 "Jane Eyre". In 2007 he appeared in "The Deaths of Ian Stone" and as Jem Hearne in "Cranford". Also in 2007 he appeared as Sean Knowles in the ITV programme The Whistleblowers.

He stars in the ITV1 drama "The Fixer" as John Mercer a paid assassin targeting people who have escaped the law.

He appeared in the season 4 opener of Bones as Dr. Ian Wexler.
