The Beach Soccer World Championships 2001 was the seventh edition of the Beach Soccer World Championships. The tournament took place in Costa do Sauipe, Brazil from February 11-February 18. It was also the first time that the tournament saw Brazil finish outside the top 3.

12 teams were split into 4 groups of 3 with the Top-2 from each group advancing to the knock-out phase.
