Baisour Alla Yumura

Baisour is a village in Mount Lebanon.The center, known as Sa7it Baissour, is 850 meters above sea level. Distance from Beirut is 30 km (20 minutes driving). Baissour shares a border with Aley, Kaifoun, 2abr Shmoon, Majdlaya, and Ainab. Baissour is continually growing and expanding. With upcoming new shops and restaurants such as Baissour Country Club which marks Baissour as a must see tourist destination, the economy is growing and people have a great place to spend the day and night. Combining camping, swimming, great food and wonderful entertainment, Baissour Country Club is the place to be. The radar is also a well known site for spending the day with friends and family with food and fun. Baissour, to many, is known as the greatest place on earth!Baisur is about 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Basateen which was a frontline during the civil war.

Baisour has a population of about 12000 citizens.It is far from Beirut about 30KM and from the city of Aley about 7 KM.It is a green village with a small river and lot of pine cedar trees.Baisour is famous with its religious Druz people who are well known in solving the conflicts between people of the region.There is an ancient saying about Baisour: (Baisour Alla Yumura = God keep Baisour living in prosperity).The citizens are from the Druz religion.
