Bernard, Bishop of St David's

Bernard (1115-1148), was a Norman Bishop of St David's, appointed by Henry I. He also served as Chancellor to Queen Adelize. He was the last bishop to dispute the primacy of the see of Canterbury.Fact|date=June 2008 He founded Whitland Abbey.Burton "Monastic and Religious Orders" p. 229]
