French corvette Mignonne (1797)

The "Mignonne" ("cute") was a 16-gun corvette of the French Navy.

She was built in Cherbourg in 1797, and took part in the Caribbean campaign led by Admiral Louis Thomas Villaret de Joyeuse in 1803, notably taking part in the capture of Fort Graville in February.

In 1803, as she sailed with the frigate "Poursuivante", she encountered a British convoy and was captured by HMS "Goliath".

She was commissioned in the Royal Navy as HMS "Mignonne".

She was wrecked in December 1804.
