Ronne Troup (born circa 1945) is an American actress best known for her 1970-72 role as "Polly Williams-Douglas" on the long running sitcom "My Three Sons".

Biography

Ronne is the daughter of musician/actor Bobby Troup (and starred in several episodes of "Emergency!" in the 1970s with him). She has two daughters.

Career

In 1966, she made her film debut as part of the all-girl ensemble in Columbia Film's "The Trouble with Angels" where she is prominent in the graduation scene.

In 1967 (at age 22), she was cast as Sister Bertrille and had begun filming the pilot for Columbia/Screen Gem's "The Flying Nun" when she was dropped after the studio's first choice Sally Field finally agreed to accept the role.

In 1968, she played the role of "Leslie Hayden" in "Danger Island (TV series)", the cliffhanger serial which was featured on the "Banana Splits Adventure Hour" children's program on Saturday mornings.

In the 1970s, she played Chip's wife "Polly" on "My Three Sons" for two years, then appeared often on such popular dramas as "Emergency!", "Marcus Welby, M.D." and "Adam-12".

From 1987 to 1990, she portrayed "Barbara" on the CBS show, "Knots Landing".

In more recent years, Ronne has appeared in guest roles on "The West Wing" and "Cold Case".
