The IAR 14 is a
Romania n low wing monoplane fighter-trainer aircraft designed beforeWorld War II . The airplane was designed byIAR design bureau in1933 and it is an evolution from theIAR 12 prototype. The fuselage is of rectangular shape built from wood (the rear part) andduralumin (the front part). The aircraft was equipped with theLorraine-Dietrich 12 powerplant, produced under license by IAR, that also equipped theIAR 12 . The first flight took place in June1933 . In September1933 an order for 20 planes was placed. The production ended beforeWorld War II in1939 .pecifications (IAR 14)
