Fils (currency)

The fils (Arabic alphabet: ) is a subdivision of currency used in many Arab countries, such as Iraq. "Fils" is the singular form in Arabic, not the plural (as its final consonant might indicate to an English speaker). The plural form of fils is "fuloos" (); fils is also the Arabic word for money.
