Ayub Khan-Din , atManhattan Theatre Club . The production was directed by Scott Elliott, artistic director ofThe New Group .After a few years of steady work, he was cast in
Homebody/Kabul (byTony Kushner ) atNew York Theatre Workshop , directed byDeclan Donnellan . Subsequent productions were mounted at theMark Taper Forum andBrooklyn Academy of Music (directed byFrank Galati ) where he continued in the role of Zai Garshi. Other stage credits include plays at theMcCarter Theatre ,Cooper Union and theJoseph Papp Public Theater .In 2001, he began to transition to television, making appearances on "
