Michael West (born 16 February 1987) is an Australian Rules Footballer who played for the Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League.
He was picked up by the Western Bulldogs in the 2005 AFL Draft in the fourth round, at pick number 57 overall, despite the fact he suffered a knee injury before the draft. He did not play for the bulldogs during that year, instead spent most of his time in the reserves for Werribee (The western bulldog’s VFL affiliate.) He played 13 games for Werribee during the year, scoring 26 goals, including a bag of 6 goals.
At the end of the year, he was delisted by the bulldogs, but was picked up again by the bulldogs in the rookie draft. At the end of the 2007 AFL season, he was not offered a new contract at the bulldogs, and is expected to nominate for the draft.
He wore jumper number 24 for the Bulldogs, and rates Chris Judd as the best AFL player he has seen.
