Angela P. Harris is a noted legal scholar in the fields of
critical race theory , feminist legal scholarship, andcriminal law . She has taught these subjects atUC Berkeley School of Law since joining the faculty there in 1988.Biography
Harris earned a B.A. from the
University of Michigan in 1981, and her M.A. (1983) and J.D. (1986) from theUniversity of Chicago . She clerked for Judge Joel Flaum of theUnited States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit , and worked as an attorney for the law firm of Morrison and Foerster.
