Stacy Brice

Stacy Brice is an American entrepreneur, and pioneer of the Virtual Assistance profession. She is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of [http://www.assistu.com Assist University] , a Baltimore, Maryland-based organization committed to training, coaching, supporting, and certifying Virtual Assistants.

History and Philosophy

In 1992, Stacy moved out of a brick-and-mortar business to establish a home-based business, providing travel planning and executive assistance. She subsequently began to formulate her vision of an archetypal administrative assistant; one who would work virtually. In 1996, Stacy became involved with [http://www.coachinc.com/CoachU/default.asp?s=1 Coach U] , and shortly afterward, followed her passion by coaching women to live deeply authentic lives.

In 1997 she formalized the Virtual Assistance profession by creating AssistU– the first organization of any kind for Virtual Assistants (VAs).

AssistU’s Virtual Training Program (VTP1) incorporates a business model based on the feminine aptitude for inclusive support, team work, cooperation, sharing, intuition, and a view to the long-term best interests of everyone involved. AssistU offers two levels of certification2, and a referral service for prospective clients.
