Giuseppe Alberti

Giuseppe Alberti (1664-1730) was an Italian painter of the Baroque period. He was born at Cavalese, in what was then austrian Tyrol. After having studied medicine at Padua he decided to become a painter and architect. He worked under Pietro Liberi in Venice, then in Rome, and finally settled at Trieste. Alberti died at Cavalese.
