Bloemendaal (pronunciation|Nl-Bloemendaal.ogg) is a municipality and a town in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland.

The municipality of Bloemendaal consists of the following cities, towns, villages and/or districts: Bloemendaal, Aerdenhout, Bloemendaal aan Zee, Overveen, and Vogelenzang.

Railway connections

The municipality of Bloemendaal contains three train stations: Bloemendaal, on the connection between Haarlem and Uitgeest; Overveen, on the connection between Haarlem and Zandvoort aan Zee; and Heemstede-Aerdenhout, on the connection between Haarlem and Leiden.

Sports

Bloemendaal is the home town of one of the country's most famous field hockey clubs, HC Bloemendaal. The first men's team is competing for the Dutch title nearly every year.
