video game developer founded by Billy and Jason Zelsnack in 1997. Staffed largely by ex-3DRealms employees, they were signed byEA to create "Prax War 2018 ", a "near future, military, sci-fi, action adventure" using a proprietary java-based engine. (The company's name reportedly came from Billy Zelsnack's firing at Epic Megagames, where he was accused of being a "rebel" and "rocking the boat".)After 18 months of work, the project was canceled by EA, who stated that the game had "missed its technology window" [cite web |url=http://www.gamasutra.com/features/19990611/java_13.htm |title=Java wraps native code in "Prax War"|accessdate=2007-10-31] and the company dissolved.
