"Journal of Physics D: Applied Physics", often referred to simply as "Journal of Physics D" or abbreviated as "J.Phys.D", is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Institute of Physics (IOP) in the United Kingdom. Its coverage includes five main focus areas: magnetism; photonics and semiconductors; plasmas and plasma-surface interactions; applied surfaces and interfaces; and the structure and properties of matter.
