Kiranpal Singh Deoora 1957) is a UK santoor Maestro. Born in Dar-es-Salaam, Tanzania,he is a world class Santoor performer of Indian Classical Music, and one of a select few featured regularly all over the globe promoting Indian Classical Music through concerts, workshops/lecture/demonstrations/and tuition.He has many cd's to his credit.Kiranpal is one of a select few leading and senior disciples of the pioneer of Indian Santoor- Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma. Born of a musical family which emigrated to U.K in 1968, Kiranpal's first love was the Tabla which he pursued under the guidance of Shree Ripudhamman Singh Plaha of Punjab Gharana for seven years.His potential as an artiste of the highest caliber was recognized by His Holiness Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji Maharaj on a visit to the UK ,having heard Kiranpal's Solo Tabla recital blessed Kiranpal to go to Bombay to study Santoor in the traditional way under the renowned Santoor Maestro Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma.He completed ten years of intensive study in Guru Shishya Parampara as an outstanding student, mastering the subtleties and intricacies of the instrument in such a commanding way, that he imbibes the same touch and lyricism of his guruji. He has played at at Buckingham Palace ,South Bank Halls, Royal Albert Hall,Spittalfields Festival of Music and other important festivals in U.K., Europe and beyond., and has many compact discs to his credit. Kiranpal has participated in cross-cultural projects such as Millan -A reunion of Traditions as co-leader [TAPS] ,whilst maintaining solo status as an artist.Kiranpal is also a teacher of Indian Classical music in schools in London.Kiranpal plays music for world peace love and harmony.

Harjinderpal Singh is a visiting Santoor Maestro and Kiranpal's colleague. Both of these Maestros are Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma's leading and senior disciples.Both of these masters have the advantage of following in their Guruji's footsteps in having first learnt vocal and Tabla at professional level.They are blessed with the patronage of H.H.Sri Satguru Jagjit Singh Ji Maharaj.
