Pergamea

Pergamea

Pergamea was the city that Aeneas and his crew began to found in the "Aeneid" on the island of Crete. Apollo appeared to Aeneas in a dream and told him that they were at the wrong place and told him to push on to Italy. ("Aeneid" Book III, 131)
