Shaila Simi

The Miss Bangladesh Contest was first organized by Tibet Cosmetics in 1998. And for the very first time the competition took place in every division of Bangladesh. Contestants wore the dashio shari (national dress of women in Bangladesh). Shaila Simi was the first Miss Dhaka (Tibet Miss Ruposhi Bangladesh) on March 30, 1998. Shaila Simi is currently working as RJ in radio today (very first FM of Bangladesh)fm 89.6 and also working as a producer in many different T. V shows.The first show from radio today fm88.6 was(in chittagong) hosted by her.

No contest has been organized since 2001. However, the current famous beauty contest in Bangladesh is Pantene's You got the Look contest
