Joseph Vogel (born August 4, 1981)fact|date=June 2008 is an American author and activist.

He made national headlines in 2004 when, as Student Vice President of Academics at Utah Valley State, he invited film maker Michael Moore to speak on campus. In 2007, Vogel helped a group known as the "BYU 25" organize an "alternative commencement" in protest of Vice President Dick Cheney's invitation to speak at Brigham Young University's graduation ceremony. Vogel is an active supporter of Democratic senator and presidential candidate Barack Obama. In 2006, Vogel launched an online grassroots campaign called "Barack the Youth Vote."
