Sudi Narayan

Sudi "Sudheesh" Narayan, the creator of popular [http://www.spiritoons.blogspot.com Spiritoons] (non-serious spiritual cartoons) was born in Kerala in 1972. The central theme of spiritoons - the 'non-serious spirituality'- bring to light the hypocrisy and unawareness in human beings resulting from social, religious, spiritual and political imprisonment. Spiritoons take cartooning beyond mere humor and sarcasm and as Sudi himself points out - "are aimed at transforming the viewers spiritually in a non-serious way". Contrary to traditional beliefs and ideaologies, Spiritoons portrays 'true' spirituality as a meeting point for the so called spirituality and materialism thus bringing a transcending cartoon experience, enough to shaken the sleeping humanity to be awake and see the reality as it is.

Once actively present in the university art festivals in district, state and national levels, Sudi later found his creative skills taking a new form and energy filled with love and wisdom from greatest mystics especially his beloved spiritual master Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, a.k.a Osho. Sudi now lives with his wife Nimmi and daughter Maya in Atlanta deeply involved in the teachings , spiritual practices and the Neo-sannyas movement started by Osho. An Information Technology Architect by profession, Sudi is actively present in the art scene publishing spiritual illustrations and cartoons in various magazines and webzines.
