Leon Wayne Samson (born April 23, 1980) is an American Artist, Musician, Producer, and Designer.

Brief Background

Leon Samson is the bass player and co-songwriter of Maine-based punk band the Hi-Fivin' White Guys. Born in Farmington, ME, and raised in Livermore Falls, ME, Samson received his first bass from his father. From there, he moved to drums, and then fronted and played guitar in the ska-core influenced band the Skatistics. The Skatistics would be the band to truly inspire Samson to pursue music and entertainment. Though his interests in instrumentation were ever changing, it would be the bass that Samson returned to after their break up.

The Hi-Fivin' White Guys

In 2002, Samson would form the Hi-Fivin' White Guys with longtime friend and musician; Josh Malia. Their take on the early 90's skate punk sound of Southern California was spread around New England, on their 'One Weak Tour'(June, 2006) and then the east-coast on their "Too Weak Tour"(Oct, 2006).

Everybody Out!

It was in September 2007 that Samson would unite, as bass player, with the punk band Everybody Out!. Featuring Rick Barton; founding member of the Dropkick Murphys, SweeneyTodd; the Dead Pets, and Billy Close; The Freeze, Samson played bass for the band's opening slots of the Dropkick Murphys' east-coast tour before parting ways.

Production

Samson is credited with production of The Hi-Fivin' White Guys' debut EP; Ate Songs.

The Future

Samson will launch his yet-to-be-named clothing line, in 2008, with James Addiction.
