The body is fairly broad and depressed, with a prominent ridge separating the back from the sides, and a very short tail. Its length is up to 17 mm.
Coloration of the body is mostly transparent below but speckled with purplish-pink above. The
oral tentacle s are tipped with yellow, therhinophore s (organs of smell) are orange-brown below, and the largercerata are capped with yellowish-green.Life habits
